Nevada Theatre Company Brings Shakespeare to Summerlin

The Nevada Theatre Company is bringing Shakespeare to the Summerlin master-planned community with three presentations Thursday through Saturday evening of the troupe’s modern interpretation of “The Taming of the Shrew.” Summerlin Centre Community Park, 1800 Town Center Drive, is the venue for all three shows. Gates open daily at 5 p.m.; the Greenshow begins at 7:40 p.m. and the play begins at 8 p.m. This is the fourth consecutive year Shakespeare has been staged in the Summerlin homes community, according to Kim Haley, director of marketing for The Howard Hughes Corp., the developer of Summerlin. Summerlin Homes at Las Lomas

Summerlin Home sales are under way at Las Lomas, an 87-home neighborhood located in Summerlin’s The Paseos village. Las Lomas features Las Vegas real estate from three builders of Las Vegas homes and the neighborhood includes a private park that connects to the community’s trail system. The Paseos, a 375-acre village west of the Las Vegas Beltway, features nine active subdivisions offering buyers of Las Vegas homes nearly 40 floor plans, ranging from 1,300 to 4,200 square feet.
