The Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area has recently completed a ceremonial groundbreaking for a new $23 million visitors’ center. Projected date for completion is 2010 in a location just north of the current center, which features informative multi-media exhibits and a staff of knowledgeable guides from the Bureau of Land Management (BLM). Don’t forget to stop-by the book store and gift shop where all proceeds go towards supporting this stunning national treasure.

Red Rock Canyon was actually the very first Congressionally designated national conservation area (1990) in the State of Nevada. Today, Red Rock Canyon is home to nature lovers, sports enthusiasts and anyone seeking outdoor recreation and adventure.
