The Southern Nevada Water Authority is having its annual “Celebrate Spring” event from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. this Saturday in the Gardens at the Springs Preserve. “Celebrate Spring” is full of activities to help you discover the fine art of landscaping for your Las Vegas home. Learn how to save water and money while keeping you garden green with a landscape upgrade or an irrigation system tune-up. You also can find out how to grow, cultivate and harvest gourmet herbs and sweet, juicy tomatoes. The event offers nine classes and six demonstrations to get you ready for springtime yard work.
