Let’s face it, you would have to be “sleeping with the fishes” not to know that Lorraine Bracco was the second biggest star in the ground-breaking HBO television series The Sopranos. With a solid background in gangster dramas (Goodfellas), Bracco captivated viewers season after season with her phenomenal performance as Dr. Jennifer Melfi. Now Lorraine hopes to entice and captivate in a completely different realm of interpersonal endeavor. A sumptuous “Italian style” invitation-only dinner party was recently thrown at Planet Hollywood Las Vegas to highlight the uncorking of the newest vintages of Bracco Wines. That’s right, Lorraine Bracco is in the wine business! I think they call it synergy or some such thing. In any event, it was a great party, with a full spread of Italian food and deserts to compliment the wines. The local distributor for Bracco Wines just happens to be Southern Wine and Spirits of Nevada, true masters of special events and public relations, so the success of the evening was assured.
