The Nevada Theatre Company is bringing Shakespeare to the Summerlin master-planned community with three presentations Thursday through Saturday evening of the troupe’s modern interpretation of “The Taming of the Shrew.” Summerlin Centre Community Park, 1800 Town Center Drive, is the venue for all three shows. Gates open daily at 5 p.m.; the Greenshow begins at 7:40 p.m. and the play begins at 8 p.m. This is the fourth consecutive year Shakespeare has been staged in the Summerlin homes community, according to Kim Haley, director of marketing for The Howard Hughes Corp., the developer of Summerlin. Situated along the western rim of the Las Vegas Valley, Summerlin real estate is comprised of more than 100 neighborhood and village parks, more than 100 miles of trails, houses of worship, shopping centers, medical facilities, cultural facilities, business parks and dozens of model homes. MS Las Vegas Real Estate is your guide to all that Summerlin has to offer.
