Summerlin’s growing population has delighted the retailers who account for more than 1.5 million square feet of space in the Summerlin master-planned community. Kevin Orrock, executive vice president of The Howard Hughes Corp. (developer of Summerlin) said retail development is planned for years to come. “Within the next few years, retail space in Summerlin is expected to double,” he said.
