A new report from the State of Nevada demographer’s office shows Clark County continues to drive the population explosion that’s making Nevada the fastest growing state in the nation. As of July 2004, more than 1.7 million people had become residents of Clark County, up from 1.6 million in 2003. The Clark County growth rate of 5.8% exceeds the state average of 5% for the same time period. Also noteworthy is the fact that approximately 35% of the people that arrived in Nevada came from California. This is more good news for the Greater Las Vegas real estate market.
